The aim of the Mandarin program is to provide students with a good introduction to the Chinese language. If the children want to take it further when they are in their senior schools - they will have a very good foundation to do so. We teach the children to speak Mandarin using the Pinyin system, and to learn to write Chinese characters. We also do a lot of singing, learning traditional poems, rhymes and songs. We try to make sure the children have fun in learning the language.

Typical class structure (including one break):

singing, review, vocabulary, sentence, game playing.

One term:10 weeks
Pre-school: Year 3-5
Beginner 1, 2, & advance

School level:Year 5-9
Beginner 1, 2, & advance.

Juniors school: year 10-15
Beginner 1, 2, & advance.

Senior school: year 16-18
Beginner 1, 2, & advance.
